“It’s a revolution. Throw your hands up ‘cause we never gave in,” –Taylor Swift; Change. The song, “Change” by Taylor Swift, is very powerful. It shows how people can strive and fight for themselves but along the way they have to be persistent and never give up. In this song, the people are fighting for the right things and they’re trying to make things better. They’re fighting to be heard!! During my adolescence, I’ve been in lots of battles and I’ve had to fight hard to stay strong. My parents divorced and as I entered adolescence I had encountered problems with them that I didn’t have as a young child. I have to choose who I want to live with, my dad is moving in with his girlfriend and I’m under a lot of pressure from both of them. I’m fighting hard to keep things right. I don’t want to make one of them feel rejected if I choose to move in with the other one. But in the end I know everything will be ok and I will go to the end no matter what happens!! My choice will cause a lot of changes but my parents need to hear my voice. They need to hear me explain my choice and then they can understand my reasoning. If everyone raises their voices and try to be heard, good changes could happen!!

Admitting A Love

My quote is one of my favorite quotes from a book; Wuthering Heights. Wuthering Heights is a famous classic that is known as “Emily Bronte’s great story of hate”. The book has a lot of vengeance and hate in it but there is also a romantic love story in it between Heathcliff and Catherine. The story has a love triangle though. Heathcliff loves Catherine and Catherine loves Heathcliff but Catherine marries Edgar because he is wealthy and he can make her life better. I won’t tell you anymore of the story because it will give it away. My quote is from a special part of the book when Catherine is comparing her love to Heathcliff to losing the world and losing him. “If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and, if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the Universe would turn to a mighty stranger.” I think this quote shows the types of books I read but it also shows that I care about love and it’s not something I find funny.

DEADLY and Loving

I actually found my picture a long time but I didn’t think anything of it… until now. When we were told to find a picture that describes us, I just randomly went through my pictures and then I found this one. At first I only thought it was pretty but then as I kept looking at it I actually noticed something about it that related to me. In the picture there is one tornado that is curved but it was mirrored so that it looked like two tornadoes connected together to make a heart. I think this picture shows two parts of me. The first side is that I can be loving and sweet and I care about people and animals like my friends, family and all kinds of animals (especially monkeys). The second side is that I can be destructive. If someone messes with me then they better get ready for a lot force coming back at them. So I chose the picture because it shows a part of me that I want people to know.
